The Illinois Institute of Art Information kiosk was designed to be an interactive, simple, but effective information resource centrally located in the student center. The site was designed to provide easy to find information to current and potential students and parents, as well as visitors. A central and significant contribution was made to the kiosk by developing the flash vertical navigation bar.

American Classic Enterprises, an upscale interior and exterior painting and design firm, came to Domanus Interactive in search of a complete overhaul of the company’s identity as expressed through a new logo, website and brochures. By incorporating flash elements and a flash photo gallery, the website impressively displayed the high-end quality of American Classic’s services.

Binth, a custom print design company in Chicago markets printed products both online and via retail outlets. As part of a team of developers, the website not only reflects Binth’s innovative design but was also pragmatically displays and sells their products utilizing customized e-commerce tools. The new more user friendly site replaced an antiquated and ordinary site with one which now effectively displays Binth’s products.

Burke, Warren, McKay, and Serritella, a Chicago law firm, required an important update to a component of their existing website. A conversion from table-based HTML to a more usable and accessible DIV-based website was performed. The updates improved the site by enabling more content manager friendly updates as well as ensuring that the site was W3C compliant.

Discount Mortgage Lenders, a large full service mortgage lending company, was in need of a much larger online business presence. Design and features for the website were created from scratch, allowing Discount Mortgage to capture more of the growing but niche online mortgage lending market. Essential website elements included mortgage applications, online forms, mortgage calculators, as well as an information rich content.

This coldfusion-driven website enabled D&D staff to easily update and add new construction projects and accompanying photos. As part of a team of developers through Tecture, a social networking platform was developed for this growing market. This site features all the necesary components of a social networking site as well as a flash based interactive challenge room where users can create and engage in gaming competitions.

Media River, a privately-held software company specializing in contextual search platforms, needed some corrections made to their existing site. Domanus Interactive corrected the CSS and HTML errors, and developed three flash applications which markedly enhanced the users experience and gave Media River a more professional presence on the web.

Platinum Development Group, a northern Illinois-based home developer, was in need of a site redesign which would professionally display their quality homes. A multilingual site was developed (English, Polish and Spanish) that has even enabled users in Poland to view homes via the site. Utilizing XML, Platinum staff can now easily add homes while also maintaining the professional look and feel of the site.

Proplus Imaging, a small photography studio specializing in wedding and children’s photography, required a simple and professional website to promote and display its photography services. JavaScript was used for the gallery page so that when the user clicks on an image, a larger version of it will display in the main viewing area. The Proplus site is a good example of providing a low cost yet professional website for a small business.

Scooter’s Friends, a dog apparel company, offers custom and imported clothing for dogs in both retail and online venues. The look of the site was professionalized and updated to more effectively convey the company’s intended branding and identify. Just as importantly, e-commerce tools were developed to better manage a catalog of products.
Siding Group, a nationally recognized siding and home repair company, desired a modern looking website that would help attract business via the web. The newly created website displays examples of Siding Group projects in a usable, distinctive, and contemporary fashion. The site built is a perfect example of a well established and respected company whose previous website did not adequately reflect the standing of the company.

Tecture, a web development and design firm located in Chicago, required a website to promote its services and effectively display its portfolio of clients served. Using the design created by Tecture, hand-coded CSS was used along side DIV-based HTML to create a unique site. The portfolio is an AJAX driven gallery which can be easily updated and viewed without requiring browsers to download flash plug-ins or reload a new page.

Verizon, a communications company, contracted Manifest Digital to develop animation to assist potential Verizon customers with their cell phone purchases. This flash site is powered by XML to feed the individual segments and steps. An internal search engine provide users with a quick an easy way to find what they are looking for. Displayed here is one of three individual user guides developed.

Winkler Design, a Chicago-based freelance graphic designer, required an innovative website to display her portfolio to potential clients. In close collaboration with the particular design esthetics of the designer, Domanus Interactive built a site using JavaScript which displayed the entire portfolio of work so as to not require the browser to upload individual pages.

XOX Salon, a full service Chicago-based salon and day spa, required a complete overhaul of its branding and identity. Domanus Interactive created a new site, logo and collateral materials, attractively displaying XOX’s services by utilizing hand-coded CSS and DIV-based HTML. The final product delivered to XOX is another example of the ability to provide professional and high quality website without breaking the budget typical of a small business.

Merci National Thank You Day, an online site facilitating a national day of gratitude, required a website built from scratch which would maximize participation in its annual event and essay contest. This site was built for the first annual National Thank You contest sponsored by Stork to show its thanks to one special person who was nominated by another. During the first contest, the site drew almost 15,000 nominations in less than two months.

JD Graphic is a commercial printing company in the Chicagoland area. We were brought in on this project to update the current identity and build an entirely new website. The goal was to freshen up the old identity and make it more modern, while keeping key past elements such as the color.
